The Tuesday Night Stitchers were prepared for their annual Christmas Party this week, but things didn't go as planned. Last weekend the weatherman began calling for ice around the middle of the week. The party was scheduled for Wednesday. Sure enough most of Huntsville was under a glaze of ice by noon on Wednesday, and the Stitchers had to postpone their party.

By Wednesday evening the ice was gone. Such is the way with winter weather in North Alabama. So after several phone calls and numerous emails, the Stitchers decided to meet at Kay's home on Thursday. They had a wonderful time. Seated above are Jerry, Barbara, and Nancy. In the back row are Joan, Kay, Myra, Terri, and JoAnn. Just for the record, this is their umpteenth annual Christmas Party. Nancy cannot even remember exactly when the Stitchers started celebrating Christmas like this. I wonder if any of the other ladies know.
